Robert Manning Memorial Scholarship Fund
Eligibility:
- The scholarship will be weighted for educational merit as evidenced by the Foundation’s application process. To be eligible student must have between a 2.0 and 3.0 grade point average.

Marshall University Scholarship
Eligibility
- Need-based for one or more graduating high school seniors from Raleigh, Wyoming and Summers Counties attending Marshall University with consideration being given to need and general scholastic aptitude.
Maxwell Hill Community Scholarship
Eligibility
- Raleigh County, WV high school graduates
- Attended and completed at least three years at Maxwell Hill Elementary (5th grade plus two additional years)
- Applicants must indicate what years they attended Maxwell Hill
- 50% of the available funds awarded to a male student and 50% to a female student.
- Considerations in awarding are cumulative grade point average and college admission test scores
W.L., Catherine and Richard McBride Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility

The Christie H. Meadows Family Memorial Scholarship

- Second preference to a Shady Spring High School graduating senior whose parent is, or has been, a school bus driver for the Raleigh County Public Schools;
- Third preference to a graduating senior from any Raleigh County high school whose parent is, or has been a school bus driver or school bus mechanic for the Raleigh County Public Schools
- Fourth preference to a Raleigh county student pursuing higher education that is considered to be a challenged student (physically, visually, hearing impaired, etc.).

Owen C. Meadows, Jr. M.D. and Brenda J. Meadows Scholarship
Eligibility
- Must be resident of Raleigh County;
- Pursuing an accredited nursing program (including technical, baccalaureate and advanced nursing education programs);
- Merit and need based.
Troy Grant Mitchem III Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility
- Need based;
- College qualified graduates of Liberty High School;
- Recipient must have been active in one or more school approved extra-curricular activities.
Colonel Rodney F. Moody Memorial Civil Air Patrol (CAP) Scholarship
Connie Moody, wife of Rodney, along with family and friends, created this permanent memorial for a beloved family man and distinguished community servant. At the age of 54, he died in 2009 after fighting a courageous battle with lung cancer. He was a member of the Civil Air Patrol – United States Auxiliary, reaching the rank of Colonel; he served as the National Controller (2005-2008) and the WV Wing Commander (2001-2005). He was an avid supporter of the Cadet Program and initiated the cadet leadership course conducted annually at the Mine Health and Safety Academy. Income from this fund will be used to provide scholarships for eligible cadets of the WV Wing to attend a CAP leadership training activity.

Eligibility
- Bluefield attorney J. Franklin Long and his wife Vernon C. Long established this fund;
- The income will be used for law school fellowships and student support directed to recipients recommended by the Mountain State Bar Association.

- Graduating senior of Webster County High School;
- Merit (Min. 3.0 GPA) and need based;
- Desire to give back to Webster County;
- Must be attending an institution in West Virginia.
