The Lasting Legacy of Peggy & Polly Cook: Supporting Our Community

Established in 2024 with a testamentary gift from Peggy Bo Cook, the “Peggy & Polly Cook Fund” is designated to support the Humane Society of Raleigh County and Hospice of Southern West Virginia.

Peggy and Polly Cook were twins who lived in Raleigh County their entire lives and were very passionate about their community.

Leave a Legacy Today

Some people think they must choose between leaving a gift to their family or their favorite nonprofit organization. “Leave a Legacy” is a way for individuals to leave a charitable bequest to the organizations they value most. All types of nonprofit groups, including social service and arts organizations, churches, hospitals, and educational institutions, can benefit from charitable bequests. BAF has received more than $25 million in gifts as a result of charitable bequests.
