​Dr. A.G. Bowles Memorial Scholarship Fund

Eligibility                                                                               

• Provides a scholarship annually for one or more Raleigh County resident;
• Attending University of Charleston-Beckley;
• Pursuing a health related degree;
• Awarded on the basis of need and academic ability.

Renewable:   Yes.
Apply:   No application submission is required.  Every new UC Beckley student will be reviewed for consideration for available BAF scholarships according to each scholarship’s specific criteria and student level of financial need.

This endowment was established by his widow, Mrs. Ruth Pearl Bowles Cole, and Beckley National Bank where he served as director and vice president for many years. Income from this trust for scholarships formerly benefited MSU and is now directed to University of Charleston-Beckley.
