People establish permanent endowments at our community foundation for many reasons, and one of the most popular of those is creating a lasting memorial for a friend, loved one or cherished institution. The knowledge that these endowed funds are permanent and will generate income that fulfills the worthwhile charitable intent of the donor makes the donation even more appealing. Over half of the permanent endowments managed by the Foundation serve as memorials to family members, friends, and public servants.
