​Jessie B. and Joyce Riggs Memorial Fund

Jackie and Terry Musick established this discretionary fund in memory of Jackie’s parents after her mother’s death in in 2015. Joyce and J.B. were married for 50 years prior to his death in 1997. He was a mining superintendent for Slab Fork Coal Company and a U.S. Navy veteran. Joyce taught for 36 years, impacting the lives of hundreds of students at Sophia and Stanaford elementary schools.
