​Maddison Faith “Maddy” Bennett and Amy Bennett Memorial Scholarship Fund

  • Raleigh County students;
  • Evidence of merit and need;
  • Must have attended Park Middle School for a minimum of 2 years;
  • Individuals having served on the Park Middle School cheer squad will be given preference.

Utilizing BAF’s “Building over Time” option, Maddy’s parents, other family members and numerous friends continue to contribute to this permanent memorial. Maddy, an active, vivacious sixth grade student, cheerleader, athlete and friend was stricken by a heart defect while attending Park Middle School. This merit and need based scholarship fund will provide college scholarship assistance for selected recipients who attended Park Middle School for at least two years; former members of the Park Middle School Cheerleading squad shall be given preference. 

Amy Bennett, Maddy's Mother, passed away May 16, 2018 and has been added to this memorial endowment in her memory.

Confirmed in Compliance with National Standards Beckley Area Foundation is a member of the National Council on Foundations, Philanthropy WV, Beckley-Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce, Charitable Gift Planners of WV and WV Nonprofit Association. The Foundation will make available for public inspection the last three years of its tax documents, including Internal Revenue Service Forms 990 and 990-T (if applicable), any audit, and its tax exempt letter. If the request for any of these documents is made in person, the requested documents will be provided on the day of the request if possible.  If the request is in writing (including email), copies will be provided within 30 days of the request. The requestor may be charged a reasonable fee for the cost of copying, plus storage. Questions concerning documents should be addressed to either the Executive Director or Board Chair of the Foundation.
