The File Girls Cystic Fibrosis Scholarship Fund
Rev. Ellen Lilly File established this endowed fund whose income shall be used for an annual scholarship award to assist students with Cystic Fibrosis in furthering their post-secondary education and becoming employable. Recipients must graduate from a West Virginia high school and have a confirmed diagnosis of CF. Preference will be given to Raleigh County, WV students. The renewable scholarship may be used for college, vocational or technical school.

Eligibility
for no more than 8 semesters if pursuing a baccalaureate degree; no more than two years or 4 semesters for an associate degree; and the required hours for certification programs provided recipient

- Weighted for educational merit, personal achievement and financial need;
- West Virginia high school matriculating senior with a confirmed diagnosis of Cystic Fibrosis. Recipient will provide physician’s letter affirming a diagnosis of Cystic Fibrosis as part of the application process.
- The scholarship is to be awarded for post-secondary education through college, vocational or technical schools.
