Anne and Hal Myers Family Fund

This discretionary fund will serve to supplement the much needed pool of unrestricted assets utilized to respond to proposals submitted to the Foundation through its Annual Community Grant Program. Hal Myers served two years on the BAF Distributions Committee and learned firsthand the value of discretionary dollars. While he does not know the specific projects or organizations that will benefit from their gift, he is well aware that wise decisions will be made and the grants will be important to our community this year and forevermore. Hal retired from the WV Parkways Authority, and Anne retired after 27 years of service teaching in the Raleigh County Schools. They recently moved to Oklahoma to be near their only child, Amy Elizabeth, who is married to Maj. Brian Lewis Hard.
