Beckley Presbyterian Church – ​Kathryn Sarrett Fund 

In 2004, BAF received a testamentary gift from the estate of Kathryn W. Sarrett for a Beckley Presbyterian Church Endowment Fund. Kathryn left the gift in memory of her parents, H.E. White and Louise Barnett White and her husband’s parents, Walter M. Sarrett and Lucy Hawley Sarrett. Kathryn was married for 61 years to Virgil A. Sarrett. She was a nurse who retired with 27 years of service at the Beckley Veterans Administration Medical Center. Active in many community organizations, Kathryn was a devoted member and Elder in the Beckley Presbyterian Church.
