Patty and Bill Browskey Memorial Fund

Bill Browskey and his daughter Kim Fairchild, established this fund in memory of wife and mother, Nina Patricia “Patty” Lusk Browskey. She died in Aug., 2011, following a valiant battle against cancer. Well known and loved throughout the area, Patty was a proud graduate of WWHS, Class of ’60 and a member of the reunion committee that organized a tribute dinner for retired principal C.G. Peregoy. Patty enrolled at Concord about the same time that her daughter went to WVU. She earned a degree and taught at Stratton Junior High School before entering the real estate field. She was co-owner of Coldwell Banker-Raleigh Real Estate Center. Patty retired from real estate in 1995 to devote full attention to helping her husband with the Char; later selling the business in 2003. Half of the income from the fund will to the WWHS Class of 1960 Scholarship Fund and half will be distributed to Hospice of Southern West Virginia. Mr. Browskey passed away in 2013.
