Eligibility
  • Merit and need based;​
  • Woodrow Wilson High School matriculating seniors;
  • Minimum 2.5 GPA;
  • Preference given to WWHS football player;
  • Preference given to those majoring in fields related to math, science and engineering.

Woodrow Wilson High School alumni who played under Coach Hicks from 1969-1976,  established the Coach Joel Hicks Scholarship Fund to honor Joel Hicks and support scholarships for Woodrow Wilson High School matriculating seniors who played football. If the preference for football is not met, other sports are also included for scholarship eligibility.
