Dr. Matthew Murrill and Lucille C. ​Ralsten Fund

This couple bought Wildwood, home of Gen. Alfred Beckley, founder of the city; they worked for many years on its restoration. Mrs. Ralsten was a great-granddaughter of the General. The Ralstens and the Doctors Memorial Foundation created the endowment that helps to maintain this historic Beckley landmark, now operated by the city.
