Ford Family Fund

This donor advised fund honoring Margaret and Merle Ford was established by their son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Pam Ford. Graduates of Woodrow Wilson High School, the Fords were married for 66 years. They built a home and raised their family of three sons in the Shady Spring District. Merle had a long productive career in the building industry, and Margaret was a homemaker and advocate of the importance of education. “Our parents taught us about hard work, honesty and compassion for others. We were better children and became better citizens because of their example,” commented the donor. Larry is a past president of the BAF Board of Directors.
