Paul Sanna Civic Beautification Fund

The Dr. Thomas Walker Memorial Health Foundation made a significant gift to BAF in the honor of Paul Sanna, long-time board member and past president of the Walker Foundation. Paul died in 2002 and many memorial gifts were added to the fund. He had specified that the Shady Spring Garden Club recommend the civic beautification projects to be supported. This fund now supports the Piney Creek Watershed Association with projects in the Shady Spring District.

Confirmed in Compliance with National Standards Beckley Area Foundation is a member of the National Council on Foundations, Philanthropy WV, Beckley-Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce, Charitable Gift Planners of WV and WV Nonprofit Association. The Foundation will make available for public inspection the last three years of its tax documents, including Internal Revenue Service Forms 990 and 990-T (if applicable), any audit, and its tax exempt letter. If the request for any of these documents is made in person, the requested documents will be provided on the day of the request if possible. If the request is in writing (including email), copies will be provided within 30 days of the request. The requestor may be charged a reasonable fee for the cost of copying, plus storage. Questions concerning documents should be addressed to either the Executive Director or Board Chair of the Foundation.
