Paula Green Children’s Fund

This fund honors Paula Green, a Florida native who chose Webster County as home and was the first Project Coordinator of the Webster County Community Fund. Her leadership and enthusiasm attracted both donors and volunteers as Webster County initially began work to establish permanent endowments for the benefit of their communities. The annual net income of the fund provides grants to support Webster County. Grant recipients shall be recommended by the Webster Community Fund Advisory Committee and approved by the BAF Board of Directors.

Confirmed in Compliance with National Standards Beckley Area Foundation is a member of the National Council on Foundations, Philanthropy WV, Beckley-Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce, Charitable Gift Planners of WV and WV Nonprofit Association. The Foundation will make available for public inspection the last three years of its tax documents, including Internal Revenue Service Forms 990 and 990-T (if applicable), any audit, and its tax exempt letter. If the request for any of these documents is made in person, the requested documents will be provided on the day of the request if possible. If the request is in writing (including email), copies will be provided within 30 days of the request. The requestor may be charged a reasonable fee for the cost of copying, plus storage. Questions concerning documents should be addressed to either the Executive Director or Board Chair of the Foundation.
