William N. Jones Family Memorial Fund

This fund was established by William N. Jones as a memorial to his parents Carl Odell Jones and Anna Lorine Meadows Jones, as well as his brother Carl Lacy Jones. The donor believed that everyone should find a way to give back to their community. This philosophy led him to establish an unrestricted BAF endowment which will enhance the Foundation’s ability to respond to the dozens of worthwhile requests submitted during the Annual Community Grant Program. Most of William’s working life was spent in heavy construction and highway construction, many of the projects taking him out-of-state. He retired in Grandview and died in a tragic vehicle accident in August 2012.
