Woodcliff Garden Club Civic Beautification Fund

The purpose of this fund is to generate income for civic beautification projects throughout Raleigh County. The members of Woodcliff Garden Club have the distinction of being the first garden club in WV to initiate a permanent endowment. The club members will recommend each year how the money is to be spent; it is currently used to maintain the landscaping at the local Red Cross office.

Confirmed in Compliance with National Standards Beckley Area Foundation is a member of the National Council on Foundations, Philanthropy WV, Beckley-Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce, Charitable Gift Planners of WV and WV Nonprofit Association. The Foundation will make available for public inspection the last three years of its tax documents, including Internal Revenue Service Forms 990 and 990-T (if applicable), any audit, and its tax exempt letter. If the request for any of these documents is made in person, the requested documents will be provided on the day of the request if possible. If the request is in writing (including email), copies will be provided within 30 days of the request. The requestor may be charged a reasonable fee for the cost of copying, plus storage. Questions concerning documents should be addressed to either the Executive Director or Board Chair of the Foundation.
