Woodrow Wilson High School Class of 1969 Memorial Scholarship Fund
Eligibility
|
Governor Jim Justice is a member of the WWHS Class of 1969 and in the words of alumnus Delores Goode Vaughan, “we take pride in that, not for political reasons, but because he was our friend and classmate. And now, we are all Senior Citizens and have lived through FIVE decades.”
Although many of the classmates remain, some have passed away. It is because of these individuals that the remaining alumni wish to remember them by establishing this memorial scholarship fund. Several alumni of this class have established this scholarship fund utilizing the "building over time" option. Anyone wishing to remember a member of the Class of 1969 can donate to the fund and help to make it a reality. Once fully established, income will be used for need and merit based scholarships for WWHS graduating seniors pursuing a course of study leading to a teaching degree.
