Wyoming County Community Fund Scholarship

Eligibility

Must be a Wyoming County resident;
Enrolling at Wyoming County Career & Technical Center or Southern WV Community & Technical College Wyoming/McDowell County Campus;
Students attending a Wyoming County High School or a Wyoming Co. student currently enrolled at the Wyoming County Career & Technical Center or the Wyoming/McDowell County Campus of Southern WV Community & Technical College;
Adults returning to school after spending time in the workforce;
Adults with a GED;
Possess a 2.5 or greater GPA;
Work experience or exceptional community service;
Must not be on probation of any kind.

A portion of the Wyoming County Community Fund will be used to grant a scholarship each year. By donating to support this scholarship, you are also supporting community projects in Wyoming County.

Confirmed in Compliance with National Standards Beckley Area Foundation is a member of the National Council on Foundations, Philanthropy WV, Beckley-Raleigh County Chamber of Commerce, Charitable Gift Planners of WV and WV Nonprofit Association. The Foundation will make available for public inspection the last three years of its tax documents, including Internal Revenue Service Forms 990 and 990-T (if applicable), any audit, and its tax exempt letter. If the request for any of these documents is made in person, the requested documents will be provided on the day of the request if possible. If the request is in writing (including email), copies will be provided within 30 days of the request. The requestor may be charged a reasonable fee for the cost of copying, plus storage. Questions concerning documents should be addressed to either the Executive Director or Board Chair of the Foundation.
