​Ruby A. Carter Memorial Scholarship 

Eligibility

• Need and merit based for college qualified Raleigh County, WV high school graduates attending the University of Charleston-Beckley
• Preference shall be given to Woodrow Wilson High School graduates
• Preference shall be given to those majoring in education
• Upperclassmen as well as entering freshmen are eligible to receive this award.

Renewable:  Yes.
Apply:   No application submission is required.  Every new UC Beckley student will be reviewed for consideration for available BAF scholarships according to each scholarship’s specific criteria and student level of financial need.

​Sister Eileen C. Catterson, M.D. ​Scholarship 

Eligibility

• Female college qualified graduates of high schools in southern West Virginia
• Preference given to Wyoming County residents
• Must be pursuing an undergraduate or post-graduate degree in a health science field
• Must be taking a full course load with a minimum 2.0 GPA or C average

• Matriculating Senior of Shady Spring High School; and
  
• Attending a West Virginia accredited College, University, Vocational or Technical school.
