Kinder Family Endowment for Victory Baptist Academy
Mr. and Mrs. William D. Kinder directed that the income from this fund be used for a need based scholarship to defray tuition expenses for a student attending Victory Baptist Academy in Beaver, WV. Bill and Rhonda have been longtime supporters of the school.

Connie Louise McComb King Memorial Scholarship
Eligibility:
- Originally for Mt. Hope High will now accept applications from Oak Hill High School students
- Pursuing post-high school education including technical, trade or baccalaureate; preference will be given to female applicants pursuing a business or a career/vocation considered to be non-traditional for women
- Demonstrated financial need and GPA of 2.5 or better
- Essay required: In 300 to 1,000 words, describe how your background makes you a special candidate for this scholarship.

- Recipient must pursue course leading to a degree or certificate from an accredited institution such as college, junior college, trade school, or technical school.
- The primary criterion in awarding this scholarship is the “need” of the beneficiary for funds to continue his/her education

Paul L. and Donna M. Kyle Eco-Science Scholarship
Elibigility
- Need and merit based for college qualified graduates of Liberty High School;
- Preference shall be given to students with a 3.0 GPA or greater on a scale of 4.0
- Preference will be given to students pursuing studies in fields related to eco-sciences such as: earth sciences, forestry, atmospheric sciences, or sustainable.
- Essay Required: Must submit a two page essay describing the field the student intends to study and how the student hopes to use his/her education in furthering a sustainable healthy planet and/or improving the lives of the physically or mentally disabled.
- Should there be no qualified applicants in the preferred fields of study, consideration will be given to those studying mining engineering, mine safety, including engineering and other sciences related to methods for cleaner fossil fuels and reduction of greenhouse gasses. Applicants pursuing a degree that would prepare them to work with disabled individuals shall be included in this tier.
