Building for the Future Campaign

In Spring 2022, BAF relocated to 1210 South Kanawha St. in Beckley. This move to a new permanent, central location has heightened the foundation’s visibility and continues to encourage community participation. 

The Carter Family Foundation has challenged BAF and the community to raise the remaining balance of their renovation goal ($185,000) by the end of the calendar year. All money raised (up to $92,500) will be matched dollar-for-dollar by the Carter Family Foundation.

All individuals who donate to the “Building for the Future” campaign will be listed on permanent display in our reception area. All donations to BAF are tax-deductible and will be used for the renovation of our new location. Donations can be given anonymously, in memory or in honor of someone.
